Non-Spiced Wild Coho, Sockeye & King Salmon Boneless Fillets with your choice of Alder or Cedar Plank. These packages contain 5 16oz Boneless Fillets & One Plank.
In general, a BBQ Plank will last for approximately 5 "firings" if properly soaked before each use. The remainder of the plank is ideal as smoker wood for another BBQ or two.
Cedar or Alder Plank? Both are popular! In the Northwest & Alaska, the predominent wood used for Plank Salmon is Alder. Our Planks are made from renewable Alder & Western Red Cedar resources.
Our Planks kiln dried and free of preservatives & chemicals. Most East Coast Recipes favor the Cedar Plank. This may be a result of an availability issue, but great results can be obtained with both woods.
